Digital dance research

Part 2

Our digital dance research for blind and visually impaired people continues!

Dear dance enthusiasts,

We are looking forward to work together again for three days in October, November and December to research and explore the possibilities of a digital dance training together with blind and visually impaired persons/dancers.

We are looking for curious participants who want to engage in a creative, moving, open exchange.
We are looking forward to new impulses and perspectives.

What do we want?

In 2021, we embarked on our first research journey and explored the possibilities of digital training together with blind and visually impaired people. We would like to build on this in the upcoming research and deepen the knowledge gained and expand it with new topics.

We will work with improvisation, dance technical elements, body perception and choreographic tools and explore the question of how a common (dance) language can be developed in the digital space. Where are new impulses and connections? The desire for a common exchange as well as the trying out, laboratory and exploration of the body and the possibilities in the digital space are in the foreground for us.

Who and Where?

The research is open to beginners and advanced students and takes place online via Zoom.

When?

Here are the date blocks:
October: Tue, 11.10. / Wed, 12.10 / Thu, 13.10.22
